To sum up, #billionaires have a huge dose of Machiavellianism, psychopathy, narcissism, self-promotion, emotion coldness, duplicity and aggressiveness.
This affects their #empathy (e.g. #Musk) and moral judgement thus resulting in a disconnection from reality and justification of their behaviour, no matter how harmful it's to others - be it financially, emotionally or physically.
In order words, they don't give a fuck about others and want to own everything in the world.

Perhaps because his first act as shadow president was to block a spending bill in December, and the bill that replaced it (and ultimately passed) no longer included funding for childhood cancer research... his next act was to dismantle USAID, which for only 0.5% of the budget, delivers food and clean water to the impoverished and offers HIV prevention services in high risk areas. It’s because his next act was to gut the CFPB, which exists solely to help Americans recover money from predatory financial institutions that have defrauded them. It’s because his administration is demanding $880 billion in cuts to Medicaid and $230 billion in cuts to Food Stamps. It’s because veterans are getting fired by the thousands. It’s because education funding is being cut, healthcare is being cut, climate initiatives are being cut. And all the while, Musk himself somehow manages to derive more and more benefits— whether it’s in the form of taxpayer funded Tesla commercials on the White House lawn or previously-awarded Verizon contracts that are suddenly getting redirected to SpaceX. So when Musk wonders why the party of empathy and caring doesn’t like him, it’s precisely because they are the party of empathy and caring.

I write as if the person on the other end is unfamiliar with the technology at hand. When finished reading, not only do they understand the concepts, they can complete the task successfully the first time.

We’re mostly talking about poorly socialized young #men suddenly given the power to ruin other people’s lives, taking their cues from a leader who has declared that “the fundamental weakness of Western society is #empathy.”

After all, gratuitous, seemingly gleeful cruelty has been a hallmark of DOGE’s operations. Even if you think DOGE’s mass layoffs — some quickly reversed when it turned out that critical workers were fired — make sense, think of the way they are being carried out. In general, workers are being fired with no warning, no chance to make plans for the future, and often face insulting (and false) claims that they were poor performers. It's hard to escape the sense that DOGE staffers are actually enjoying this. And why not? We’re mostly talking about poorly socialized young men suddenly given the power to ruin other people’s lives, taking their cues from a leader who has declared that “the fundamental weakness of Western society is empathy.” So why should we be surprised that the DOGE kids’ rampage through the government looks more and more like a remake of Lord of the Flies?
