Describing Mejoann’s (@meljoann) musical style is both impossible and ever-unsufficient. Any attempt will always only result in trying to pidgeon-holing it, hence not doing it any justice.
This being said, I am a big fan of Prince’s 80s albums from “Purple Rain” to “Lovesexy” for their stunning, amazing, awesome innovative energy. This very same awe-inspiring creative boundlessness and abundance of ideas is what to me makes Meljoann one of today’s most inspiring artists.

I've had too many reviews now that are repeats of specific phrase patterns etc to know that these were strongly helped along with an LLM like ChatGPT, but... Some of these reviews truly do capture what I'm trying to do with my music, especially this song.

While reading this great paper by @djnavarro I learnt a new term: mathematistry (Box, 1976). It's using formal tools to define a statistical problem that differs from the scientific one, solving the redefined problem, and then declaring the scientific concern addressed.
The rest of the article was a great read and insight. That term was a little slap in the face that a lot of statisticians should get once in a while
