First crop ready in 6 months, it absorbs far more CO2 than trees, grows on marginal land and needs few if any pesticides. Hemp for fibre can be grown in degraded land to soak up toxic chemicals and then made into long term products to store the carbon.

The bee population die off that has stricken the United States agricultural sector is a four alarm fire.

They don’t have a solid idea why this is happening, but this die off is occurring in parallel to the mass die off of insect populations all over the world and the unraveling of the food web.
