Can't even finish verifying the fire video before realizing that... over a week ago Canadians reported 80 Teslas at a dealership were keyed or otherwise vandalized.

The interviews in the piece are honestly great man-on-the-street work. The disappointed Canadian cybertruck owner. Total comrade brown guy who sold his Tesla the second he realized it was against his own interest to support a fascist corp.

Reading the details of how and why Tesla is being locked out of current and future Canadian EV tax incentives reveals a possibly jaw dropping attempt by Tesla at fraud.

Canada's iZEV rebate program was winding down unexpectedly early this January. Some how in a 3day span four Tesla dealerships claimed to have sold an astronomical 1 car every two minutes, clearing out the remaining rebate funds.

Tesla sold about 8,600 cars in three days at four separate stores in Canada, or roughly one every two minutes per showroom, in January. That equates to approximately 18% of its annual volume for the market. Now, some $30 million in rebates to consumers has been frozen by Ottawa. Canada is launching investigations into whether Tesla unlawfully gained business by securing $43 million CAD ($30 million USD) in government subsidies for its customers, freezing the disbursement of funds until the matter has been resolved. In January, four showrooms in three major cities managed to sell 8,600 cars in the span of just a weekend following news that the country would no longer help fund part of the purchase price for a new electric car under its iZEV program. While a spike was to be expected and Tesla orders are typically filed online rather than at a physical store, that nonetheless works out to two cars sold every minute of every hour for three days straight. Moreover, according to Quebec-based Motor Illustrated, Tesla accounted for 89% of all claims filed during that period.

The #TSLA stock price has been crazy this week, even though the news for #Tesla has been uniformly bad. I've seen some speculation this is retail investors jumping in when Wall Street and insiders are bailing out. Unfortunate if regular people lose their money. If I were in their place, I'd get out as soon as possible.

Doing this can put downward pressure on Tesla’s stock price and hurt the company. (And if, like me, you’re betting that Tesla is grossly overvalued and #TeslaTakedown will hit it hard, then this might actually make you money — but don’t count on that!) #ElonMusk is out here predicting that #Tesla's vaporware Optimus robot will be "the biggest product of any kind of all time." 10 times bigger than any other product ever made by any other company.

Last I checked the Optimus demo a few months ago was so obviously staged/faked that the stock crashed like 10% immediately.

This is what happens when each floor of the pyramid needs to be larger than the last one...
