Need a bat? :neofoxnotice:

I had another fabric I wanted to try out and it turned into a bat. For some reason many of my fabrics turn into plushies, not sure why that is happening. This one is different than the previous one I have made. The previous will always be a unique bat. The new fabric looks less way too long and might be more suitable for this size. :3 I'll add a video as reply so you can judge it better.

If you want a fluffy travel companion, they are available from the link below. I only have one bat.

The lovely pattern is a scaled up version from https://www.beezeeart.com/products/stuffed-animal-bat-sewing-pattern-plush-toy-pattern-pdf

I have these three fluffs left that are looking for a new home. :3 The black one has slightly larger eyes than the others because I was running out of the correct eye sizes. :neofoxowo: Will also be the last ones with these as I am getting different ones for my future projects. For better or worse, I will find out.

If you want any of them: https://keeya.arcticfluff.eu/shop/bat-plushies

There are also still sharks left in the shop, including an unnecessarily large and pink one! :blobfoxpeekowo:

I'm not sure why I don't question... "Is that a BAT flying around my living room?" instead of what I did, "There's a bat here. Let me take a video and then figure out how to safely get it out of here".

For the record, I live in the US Midwest and it's been cold, doors and windows have not been left open for months. There are no holes in the ceilings or walls, I have no idea how this cute critter got in but I'm happy to report I was able to guide it out without any contact.

I "scaled" the bat a bit... the result is this fluffy monster. :neofox_peek:

The ears and wings turned out a bit "floppy" due to their size but you can give winghugs with them! :neofox_hug: The fur is also ridiculously soft. Their wingspan is almost 80 cm and they are about 30 cm high. Hm, don't remember now if that included the ears or not.

Anyway, if you would like to have one, the only one I have: ko-fi.com/s/eb2c3e623e

I had some issues with the outside EU shipping destinations, so it's for now limited to Europe. I might be able to extend that again, you can read about it on the shop page as to why. And I can send it outside EU too but somewhat high shipping costs.

Oh and if you want to create your own bat, the pattern for it is from beezeeart.com/products/stuffed :neofox_heart:

"Researchers ‘Translate’ #Bat Talk. Turns Out, They Argue—a Lot"

AKA, #bats are just like us:

"One of the call types indicates the bats are arguing about food.

Another indicates a dispute about their positions within the sleeping cluster.

A third call is reserved for males making unwanted mating advances

and the fourth happens when a bat argues with another bat sitting too close"

food, hierarchy, sex, and autonomy

the endless squabble
