i was in mood for some experimenting and i remembered that i recently got me a brush set where every stroke is a similar color to the picked.
i went in with absolutely no plan whatsoever which is very visible in the timelapse. :'D

I have two more water lily flowers to color and I just can't face them today. The one I did tonight took a ton of concentration.
We live in a great age of the democratization of art with videos and tutorials and programs like #procreate, but if you're a 47-year-old web developer with a desire to draw an elf, where do you begin? In some ways, the massive amount of content available just adds to the feeling of trying to do an impossible task. Is the AI image good enough to not have to engage with this entire field of practice you have no familiarity with? Or is your inner vision strong enough to drive you to do more?

New drawing started. This ladybug is from a photo I took about 10 years ago. It's also a digital redraw of a pen sketch I did in 2020.
