Hmm... interesting. I just tried mounting the Panasonic Leica 12-60mm f/2.8-4 lens onto my OM-1 Mark II and it looks like it only knows how to AF using contrast detect AF.

I mounted the OM 12-40mm f/2.8 Pro back onto the OM-1 II and it went straight back to non-hunting PDAF.

Has anyone else noticed the lack of PDAF when using Pana lenses on OM bodies?

A beautiful puma lady from Patagonia - this place is the only region in the world where these big cats are quite calm around humans (and don't pose a threat, in general ). She was literally walking past us, amazing moment.

I love this frame which visually embodies the concepts of "mujo" (無常) and "mono no aware" (物の哀れ).

"Mujo" is Buddhist concept of impermanence and "mono no aware" is finding beauty in life due to this impermanence.

I penned the following haiku in Japanese and English inspired by this frame.

花が咲く
いつも儚い
命かな

Cherry blossoms bloom
Always so ephemeral
Alas, such is life

An ant farming "honeydew" from aphids. The ant tickles the aphids with it's antennae to stimulate excretion of the sugary waste product from the sap that the aphids feed on.
