It's not just gross, it's as creepy as hell. #Meta wants to insert itself into every act of human communication, mine it for data, and rent the data to anyone who'll pay. There are already countries where WhatsApp is the standard way of communicating with businesses; in those countries, if you won't deal with Meta, you can't participate in modern society. Even here in the UK, I miss out by refusing to use #Facebook and #WhatsApp.
