So busy today, I don't have the time to make up a good #Doorsday pun. 😥

Today's #door or rather #doors are not from a church, ha! It's from the old #post office in #Magdeburg. It's an impressive #historic building (built in 1895), not far from the Cathedral. Today it houses the Justice Centre, but a small part of it is still used as a #postOffice. The signs say "letters" and "telegrams".

The ornate entrance to a historic building, possibly a post office, is captured in a medium shot. This is a lovely old #door from the Mosque-Cathedral or #Mezquita with details of #MoorishArchitecture. In fact, it's one of the oldest surviving gates of the former mosque! The door's decoration dates back to 855 when it was known as Bab al-Wuzara ("Viziers' Gate"). Lots of Al-Andalus state officials used to enter the mosque here. The Great Mosque of Córdoba was converted into a Catholic #cathedral in the 13th century. It's a World Heritage Site since 1984.
