Another example of #enshitification. Do not buy HP printers. What a horrible company. Another lifelong subscription model (for ink) where the consumer is galled by monopolistic practices and the predatory pricing that follows. Capitalists hate competition.

The half-assed service model.

Maybe it's just because we live in a small town but several of the goods and services we've purchased lately have fallen way short of what was promised (and paid for.)

Return visits to fix something that should have been done initially. Appliances failing to hold up to routine use, fixes made to a vehicle recall that then fail themselves.

Anybody else seeing this? I hope so, otherwise I'm gonna start taking it personally.

@eff @aaronmackey @CNN How is it is that the word 'Web' does not show up in this article? Facebook still has web access, so they still need to police that, as it is not an app. I have to assume that Meta is also thinking of getting rid of its remaining 'web' products, or at least tying them to having an app, as they do with whatsapp and instagram.
