Last week in Leiden, Brewster Kahle was presented with the 2024 ProjectUil by the Dutch Wikipedia community. He explained how the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine has helped fix millions of broken links, ensuring citations on Wikipedia remain valid and accessible across multiple language editions.

I don't know how others in the US are copying with an increasingly oppressive government where it seems martial law might be just around the corner. Between depression, anxiety, and illness, I've barely left home this year for anything other than medical appointments, so attending protests is out of the question. I edit @wikipedia in an attempt to keep an accurate record of the demise of #democracy.
