Based on daily values, the March average of atmospheric CO2 at Mauna Loa was 428.1-428.2 ppm; that's ~2.8 ppm higher than last year.
Since it's already higher than last year's May-June peak, it's also the highest level in at least 15 million years.

Angesichts drohender #CO2-Strafen will die #EU-Kommission #Auto'herstellern mehr Zeit einräumen, #Klimaregeln einzuhalten. Anstelle einer jährlichen Einhaltung der #Grenzwerte sollen die Unternehmen drei Jahre Zeit bekommen, teilte die Behörde in Brüssel mit. Einer Änderung der Vorschrift muss eine Mehrheit unter den EU-Staaten und im #Europaparlament zustimmen.
#Manganknollen aus der Tiefsee - Wissenschaftler vermuten, dass sie für Sauerstoff in der Tiefsee sorgen und für eine Welt voller Leben, - das u.a. auch unser #CO2 abbaut.
