So we've just had mailshots about registering for postal voting in Deakin Electorate. (E Melbourne suburbs)
Libs won by 0.02% after 3 recounts.
The mailshot is NOT from AEC.
They've come from Michael Sukkar's office again, as in 2022, with full colour leaflets promoting him and his fugly mugshot.
This pissed me off 3 yrs ago and my understanding it wasn't to happen again.
So why is it ?
Postal vote forms sent out by the major parties are just a data harvesting operation. While not illegal they are misleading and unethical
The AEC has raised concerns about the practice but they don't have the power to stop it

The US is attacking our economy and the economies of our friends and allies.
It’s difficult to end all US products and services, but we can all cut out some.

Trump hit Norfolk Island with a 29% Tariff. This raises at least two questions.
1. Why is that tariff different from Australia? After all, it is part of the country, and
2. What the hell does Norfolk Island export to the USA?
3. On the same vein, why did Heard and MacDonald Islands, which are uninhabited, get singled out for tariffs?
bizarre times indeed. At least it provides some comic relief before Trump tries to distract his opponents with a foreign war. No, not against Greenland or Canada, but against Iran. The planes, ships and missiles are all in place and ready to fly.

Don't like our US Beef ban, Trump?
There's a simple two-step process to have it eliminated.
1. Eradicate BSE ("mad cow disease")
2. Prove it is eliminated, scientifically
Then we'll re-consider the need for a US ban.
We don't have BSE here, and more importantly, don't want it here. The US also has lots of other diseases we don't have or want here. Pray we don't expand US import bans further to keep the diseases out you refuse to control.
