FoolishOwlI was looking at another <a href="https://social.coop/tags/TTRPG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TTRPG</a> that's explicitly about revolutionaries organizing a revolutionary movement. You'd think these would appeal to me, but I have a hard time imagining them achieving their stated goal, exploring how to organize a revolutionary movement, because the game design would make a lot of assumptions about what that should look like. Theories of change are among the things that need to be examined and explored, not implicitly assumed.

Marko VujnovicAt last count I was past 300 physical RPG books on my shelf. I have no plan, I just like RPGs and I get the stuff that seems cool to me. Overall, I have a general preference for modern systems and games that push the medium, but also my favorite game line is World of Darkness.With all of that said, I have heard a number of RPGs mentioned as DnD successors now that DnD is cratering and... I own none of them. Again, totally not on purpose.
