Es war allein Musks Entscheidung, selbst schon verbaute Sensorik (Radar) in den Teslas abzuschalten und nur noch auf optische Erkennung ("vision only") zu setzen. Aktuelle Teslas haben nur noch Kameras, kein Radar, kein Lidar, nicht einmal mehr Ultraschallsensoren für die Einparkhilfe. Das Ergebnis sieht man ab etwa der Mitte des Videos.
