This Is My GlasgowI love the shape of the entrance to the former Elder Cottage Hospital on Drumoyne Drive in Glasgow. Founded by Isabella Elder in 1902, it was designed in a Late Englsh Renaissance style by J.J. This Is My GlasgowOne of the Cochrane Street entrances to Glasgow City Chambers. Built in the 1880s, it was designed by William Young. The two figures in the spandrels above the arch seen to represent Literature (on the left reading a book) and Music (on the right playing a lyre). This Is My GlasgowThe entrance to 5 Blythswood Square in Glasgow. Built around 1829, in 1895, this building became home to the Glasgow Society of Lady Artists, which had been founded in 1882 by eight female students from the Glasgow School of Art (since the nearby Glasgow Art Club would not admit female artists, a policy which only changed in 1980).
