bram dingelstad :nb_flag:Some of this infrastructure software is available in like a Million different <a href="https://gamedev.lgbt/tags/OSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#OSS</a> projects that try to solve the same problem in a myriad of different waysso imma do the thing that is only reasonable: make my own solution 😅but i'll keep it super simple and mostly in a spit and ducttape kinda vibe, i'll document it as i go, but software will have to wait because we're moving onto converting the ITX case into a server rack using the magic of <a href="https://gamedev.lgbt/tags/CAD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#CAD</a> and <a href="https://gamedev.lgbt/tags/3DPrinting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#3DPrinting</a>, which will take a while 😅

bram dingelstad :nb_flag:i'm gonna try and make a rack-mounting thingy out of an old ITX computer case! i'll do this with <a href="https://gamedev.lgbt/tags/CAD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#CAD</a> and some <a href="https://gamedev.lgbt/tags/3Dprinting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#3Dprinting</a>i would love to invest into a mini rack, but i just realized that's cisadmin pinterest vibes, and i might as well re-use this scrap metal i have lying aroundone should be enough to fit most of the stuff i want in there, but i actually have a second identical one that i can flip upside down and mount on top of this one for expansion in case i need that later
