T 🍉<p>Aspen (populus tremula) eyes.</p><p>No wonder this tree was considered sacred in folklore: "When the aspen whispers, you can hear the dead speak."</p><p>It's one of my favourite trees. It whispers in the wind, it looks hauntedly beautiful in the winter. It feels calming.</p><p>This one grows near our home next to a parking lot which is why it's lower branches have been pruned.
