I stand against genocideBought a secondhand <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/longbow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#longbow</a> recently and tomorrow I begin the long and laborious process of tuning it and establishing sight marks for different arrow sets and different distances. Since it’s cold and damp outside I will begin with 20 yards indoors. The bow - by Adie Hayes - is a triple laminate English longbow with a poundage 12lb less than my main bow. I will probably use this for shorter distances and keep my other for 60+ yard shooting. Oh but I love my <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/archery" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#archery</a>.

mausmaloneSince we just went apple picking I decided to try to shoot an apple with an arrow. I learned that this is a bad idea in 4 ways.1: obviously it's hard.
