Today I was warned by the Veterans Administration Office of Community Care that this time they are sure: many of my Veteran patients really are going to lose benefits. The VA is recommending they seek care from home health and hospice, as well as on Medicaid waiver programs. But these programs are also likely to be cut dramatically. These men are elderly, have ptsd and war wounds, and they deserve to have the care that was promised them. I am

The VA has done a great job staying on top of this category for me.
They have me currently seeing 3 different neurosurgeons, 1 neuromuscular specialist, and 1 neurologist in the private sector and the VA neurology team is coordinating and communicating everything that is going on.
The Veteran Affairs is going through some tough stuff right now. However, they are continuing to stay on top of things in a timely manner and are making sure vets get care when they need it.
