Beide Arten fliegen dort im April gleichzeitig, wenn auch mit etwas verschobenen Schwerpunkten. Die Spanier sind eher später dran und noch im Mai zu finden, die Südlichen bereits ab Anfang April. ThomDie Hyazinthen blühen im Garten. Bienen tummeln sich auf den Blüten. Mit dem Sigma 105mm Makro-Objektiv habe ich versucht, die Bienen auf den Blüten bei ihrer Arbeit einzufangen. Marcus RimpelDer Gelbe Aurorafalter kommt in Südeuropa vor. Von der heimischen Art unterscheidet er sich unter anderem durch die namensgebende (leichte) Gelbfärbung, die ausgeprägteren Orange-Anteile beim Männchen und auch zum geringeren Teil bei den Weibchen und die großflächigere Musterung der Flügelunterseite. Diese wiederum ist für die hervorragende Tarnung der Falter bei geschlossenen Flügeln auf der Raupen-Nahrungspflanze verantwortlich: dem Brillenschötchen.
