Mx. Luna Corbden
Whenever I go to a new town, I look for these rags, the little local arts weirdo leftist liberal paper, and I find I'm not disappointed even up here in the Idaho panhandle. I didn't see it on my first pass, but it caught my eye at the grocery yesterday and I instantly hoped I'd found it based the cover art, and was right.

In Seattle you'd think it was the Stranger, which was the weird liberal arts response to The Weekly, but actually, even the weirder more artsy response to The Stranger was The Seattle Sinner, which I wrote a few articles for. (I started their sex toy review column before I got busy and someone else took it over. I don't know if this read still exists... I assume not.) And when I visited Salt Lake City, they had their own. (I don't remember what it was called.)

So I knew what to expect when I saw Tumbleweird ( @tumbleweird ) when I moved back to the Tri-Cities. I wrote a couple articles for them too!

So guess who's gonna be thinking of stuff to write for this one?

It's got a surprising number of serious journalistic articles about state pol and anti-Trump screeds. Plus various fun pieces, music festivals, native plants, fairylore, and a good number of advertisers. I've only quickly flipped through. Really excited to see a paper of this size, quality, and apparent circulation in an area with such a small population.

I also just learned that Toad the Wet Sprocket and a couple other 90s bands are gonna be at the festival!

#IDPol #Idaho
