Feb 28 2025<br>The prompt is Elevate </p><p>Morgan Page, “Elevate” 2008</p><p><a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/MorganPage" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MorganPage</span></a> is a <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/DJ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DJ</span></a> and producer who’s done remixes for other artists as well as creating and releasing <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/ElectronicMusic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ElectronicMusic</span></a> of his own…you know the type. 😉</p><p>This album contains both Page’s own tracks featuring guest vocalists, and an assortment of his remixes. There’s a fair amount of <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/EDM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EDM</span></a> stuff that doesn’t really grab me, but also some less head-pummelling gems. </p><p>My favorite is his <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/remix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>remix</span></a> of “Sleepwalking Through the Mekong” by <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/LA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LA</span></a>-based <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Cambodian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Cambodian</span></a>-<a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/surf" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>surf</span></a>--<a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/psychedelic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>psychedelic</span></a> band <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/DengueFever" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DengueFever</span></a> (quite the niche!), whose original version became the centerpiece for soundtrack of the film of the same name, which attempts to connect the dots of their cross-cultural sound. Wait what?</p><p>BUT back to the album “Elevate” - please enjoy this sublime remix.</p><p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7oTN6lI84c" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">youtube.com/watch?v=U7oTN6lI84</span><span class="invisible">c</span></a></p>
