Emily Moran Barwick<p>Hi. I'm terrified. </p><p>I've been trying to make my own space on the web for years. And I've been stuck. Badly.</p><p>But today is my birthday. And I refuse to let another year pass without putting something—anything—out there.</p><p>So here it is in all its messy glory. DanCrescentWolf<p>Ok so I'm prescribed to take Ritalin now, since a couple weeks<br>I'm still in the process to figure out my correct dosage</p><p>It's the short-releasing ones, once I can clearly figure out my correct dose, I will probably get the long-releasing ones prescribed</p><p>Currently I'm taking 30mg a day <br>15 in the morning and 15 after lunch or so<br>(I'm allowed to increase the dose to up to 40mg a day rn, until my next doctor appointment, which is in May)</p><p>Today I took the meds at 9am (it's now 10:30am) and I'm at my 2nd (strong) coffee right now. And there's still too much of my symptoms left imo</p><p>Each time I upped the dose I felt a positive difference, compared to the last dose I took - but always the next day, I didn't feel that positive effect anymore xD<br>Is that normal?</p><p>If you take Ritalin (or a similar ADHD medication) which dosage do you take? How often do you take it?</p><p>And how do I know when I found the perfect dosage?</p><p>Oh and is there any other 'tips &amp; tricks' you can share regarding this topic ? x3 </p><p><a href="https://pounced-on.me/tags/ADHD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ADHD</span></a> <a href="https://pounced-on.me/tags/actuallyadhd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>actuallyadhd</span></a></p>
Will 🏳️‍🌈<p>I’ve been trying my best to put on a brave, positive, face/mask. But it becomes clear I need to accept that I’m having a lot of trouble with the house selling and especially the apartment rental process. I assume it’s my AuDHD, but I need regularity and consistency, and the current state is anything but. It’s hard also to be told I was denied or failed repeatedly, and getting my hopes up many times.</p><p>Hopefully I’m near end game so I can find my stability and peace again.</p><p>Hope this might help someone else in some small way.</p><p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://a.gup.pe/u/actuallyautistic" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>actuallyautistic</span></a></span> <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://a.gup.pe/u/actuallyadhd" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>actuallyadhd</span></a></span> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/ActuallyAutistic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ActuallyAutistic</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/ActuallyADHD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ActuallyADHD</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/MovingResidences" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MovingResidences</span></a></p>

Having the option to just work uninterrupted, in familiar patterns, appeals to my <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/ActuallyAutistic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ActuallyAutistic</span></a> need for structure and familiarity, while when my <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/ActuallyADHD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ActuallyADHD</span></a> side wants novelty, I can go wander the realm and see what pops up. And if I need something, I can make it myself, darn it! V'ger<p>Today it has been four weeks taking MPH. And I must say, I don't think this is a placebo effect anymore. Focusing on work has become SO MUCH EASIER! There are still days when I'm low on energy that I can't get a lot of work done. But even on those days I'm able to do things when they are really urgent.</p><p>So I definitely still need to manage my spoons. MPH doesn't really increase my energy level. It just helps me managing my energy better on a daily basis.</p><p>I'm finally able to function again 🥲</p><p><a href="https://chaugnar.daemonlair.org/tags/ActuallyAuDHD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ActuallyAuDHD</span></a> <a href="https://chaugnar.daemonlair.org/tags/ActuallyADHD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ActuallyADHD</span></a> <a href="https://chaugnar.daemonlair.org/tags/ActuallyAutistic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ActuallyAutistic</span></a></p>
